Meet Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel Boulton, a 2023 graduate from St. Andrew's Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Since graduating, I've moved to Melbourne to study medicine at Monash University. I love my degree dearly but tutoring is undoubtedly a second passion of mine! In the past year alone, I've had the privilege of helping over 30 students (and counting) with the QCE, UCAT and medical interviews.

What is Daniel's QCE?
More than a tutoring company
Daniel's QCE isn't just another large-scale commercial operation trying to corner the market. This is my passion project, and I'm here to tutor because I love it — not because I want to hire 100 other people to do it for me.
Queensland's best
Although we offer UCAT and interview tutoring for students across Australia, Daniel's QCE was built first and foremost for Queensland students. It's difficult at times to find quality resources for the QCE — we believe you should be able to succeed in Year 12 regardless of where you go to school.
A community open to all
We provide free resources on YouTube and offer QCE tutoring for just $10/week to ensure that every student has access to the best possible resources — no matter their circumstances.

Daniel is the lead tutor at Daniel's QCE, with experience spanning seven QCE subjects, the UCAT and medical interviews at almost every university on the east coast of Australia.
See the receipts99.95 ATAR. Graduated as Dux of St. Andrew's Anglican College in 2023. Achieved scores of 100 in Chemistry, 99 in Specialist Maths, Physics, and Literature, 98 in Methods and 92 in Economics. Completed Monash University Biology Bridging Course.
3390 UCAT. Achieved a 99th percentile score in 2023. Current medical student at Monash University. Recieved the Sir John Monash Scholarship for Distinction.
Interviewed at 8 universities. Accepted into every top preference, with a 100% interview-to-offer success rate. Completed MMIs/panel interviews at almost every medical school in Australia.

Tutoring experience
In the past year alone, I've helped over 30 students with the QCE, UCAT and medical interviews in over 150 hours of 1:1 sessions — and I've learned a lot in the process!
Personal experience
My personal experiences shape everything I do at Daniel's QCE. I understand exactly how stressful and taxing Year 12 can be at times, and I strive to help my students through this.
Time management
I know what it's like to work around a busy schedule; that's why I keep my tutoring realistic and practical and aim to provide students with concrete tips and tricks for organisation.
Do more of what you love
Year 12 was a surreal time for me. The long and lonely hours of study, the endless pressure (usually coming from within) and the relentless focus on results combined to form an experience that was isolating and strange at times.
But if I could go back in time and do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing. As difficult as the year was, it was also thoroughly enjoyable because I made time for the things that mattered to me. Staying in touch with who you are is so important during stressful times and strong time management skills are something that I seek to work on with all of my students, wherever they are in their journey.
